It had good location near to the ferry across to Portsmouth, obviously the open areas with fantastic views over the Isle of Whyte, and the pub. There were clean bathroom and airy room.
As for me, the area was extremely busy.

The breakfast was fantastic really tasty and super fast service way better than I expected and the staff were genuinely friendly , made a difference and also the room was clean well kept with everything I needed kind of not what I expected for such a price
It was a bit pricey but that's what you pay for a decent place.

The stay was primarily for a short getaway, and I found the historical charm of the building delightful. The breakfast offering was generous with various hot dishes that really made the mornings enjoyable. Despite some plumbing issues in the old structure, the comfortable bed and lovely views over the water made it worth it. I was also impressed by the dinner options which were hearty and quite reasonable in price.

Fine views and cozy atmosphere
The staff were friendly, especially during breakfast where each meal was individually cooked to order. I did find that the breakfast service could be a bit slow at times, detracting slightly from the overall experience.

The room was spacious and we loved having our breakfast delivered right to us, which was a real treat. The breakfast was a treat, especially the full English, and I loved the relaxed vibe of the beautiful garden area with comfy seating and a lovely view. A small downside was that I had to park on the street, but it wasn't a huge issue at all. If you're looking for a cozy spot with solid amenities, this place is definitely worth considering! 😊
